How much do you charge to use the app?

Nytch costs $199/month per store location (but is free for shoppers). Your subscription provides you with a virtual storefront on Nytch, access to real-time shopper requests, and unlimited capacity to upload inventory in response to requests or to the public feed.

Do I need to add a fee on every Nytch sale / transaction?

No. At this time, Nytch does not charge any additional fees for sales or transactions, but stores are required to connect to a Stripe account. Nytch uses Stripe for payment processing. If a customer decides they’d like to buy an item from you, Stripe will process that payment.

My shoppers love the hunt. Will Nytch change the hunting experience for them?

Nope! Actually, Nytch combines the thrill of the hunt with the convenience of online shopping. If customers are looking for something specific, they can send a request using Nytch. If your store has what they’re looking for, the shopper will head to your location to purchase that item and then keep browsing your store to hunt for more.

Is Nytch month to month subscription or do I have to sign a year contract?

Nytch is a monthly subscription, and you can cancel at any time. When you sign up, we will automatically bill you the subscription fee of $199/month. If you need to cancel, you can email us hello@nytch.me to cancel the subscription.

I sell my vintage finds online (and don’t have a physical store). Can I sell on Nytch?

Nytch aims to support local businesses and connect shoppers with stores in their area. You’ll need to have a physical location (even a booth inside an antique store would work) in order for customers to have a place to pick up their buys.

What are the main benefits for my store using Nytch?

Nytch helps grow your business to a digital audience without the cost or time of building an ecommerce store. With Nytch, you can

Does Nytch offer any training, guidance or marketing materials for my store after I sign up?

Upon sign up, you’ll receive a store user manual, a guide to successfully using Nytch, talking points to help you share about Nytch to your customers, and several marketing materials. While it’s ultimately up to you to tell your customers about Nytch, we’ll support you as you get on the platform, and ensure your onboarding of Nytch is a successful one. 

Can I have more than one store using Nytch?

Absolutely. The fee for using Nytch is $199/month per store per location. You will have separate login information for each store and will manage each virtual storefront separately.

Where do we keep items once they are sold?

You can choose to designate a place within your store to hold items. You’ll have the ability to let shoppers know how quickly to pick up an item so you limit the amount of items you need to hold. If you’re interested in having self-fulfillment lockers at your store, let us know and we can connect with you a vendor.

Do you offer shipping?

Nytch connects shoppers with businesses in their area, and we do not offer shipping. We facilitate the relationship and communication between local businesses and the customers who love shopping them.

How can I find out what other stores in my area are using Nytch?

As a Nytch business account user, you can still access the shopper mode in the app and search like any other shopper on Nytch.

What is the best way to let customers know my store is using Nytch?

Some stores hang posters in their stores, telling customers about Nytch. Other stores print QR codes on their receipts letting customers know to download the app. When you join Nytch, we’ll send you a marketing guide and materials to help you tell your customers about using Nytch.

How do you recommend I train my store employees on Nytch?

When you sign up for Nytch, we’ll send you a user manual and store employee talking points. We recommend reviewing these documents and having your store employees sign up for a separate shopper account and send requests from their shopper account. Watch this video to learn more about the process.

What is the benefit for shoppers to use Nytch?

Nytch saves shoppers time and gives them the thrill of the hunt, even when they can’t run from store to store. Shoppers can purchase from stores in their area using Nytch right from their smartphone.

Will Nytch help me get new customers?

Nytch connects ready-to-buy-shoppers with secondhand stores in their area. And because Nytch requires in-store pickup, shoppers have to come to your location (and hopefully browse your store more) to pick up their items.

Can I list inventory on Nytch without a request from a shopper?

The item recommendations you send out in response to shopper requests are visible to all nearby shoppers, not just those receiving the recommendations. You can also post items that you find interesting without first receiving a request; local shoppers will similarly see these items and can ask to purchase or hold them in store.  

What hardware is necessary for my store to use Nytch?

All you need is a smartphone for your store location.  Nytch will assist you with setting up your digital storefront and provide you with one or more user accounts with access to manage the storefront through our concierge onboarding process. All you need to do after that is set up your Stripe Connect account with your business’s bank account to receive payouts from your Nytch sales, and then you’ll be on your way to listing items and connecting with new customers!

How quickly should I respond to shopper requests?

The quicker you respond to a shopper, the more likely you are to make the sale.

The requests I keep seeing do not match our inventory. Is this typical?

As the popularity of Nytch grows in your area, the more shoppers you’ll see sending in requests. Be sure to tell your regular customers about using Nytch in addition to visiting your store regularly. Use the requests you’re seeing as a guide on what shoppers are looking for and what you can stock in your store. While Nytch is a great platform for selling your items, it will also give your great insight into shopper demand.

My shoppers are having trouble using the app. We’ve tried to help them but they need more support, where should I send them?

You can tell your shopper to visit nytch.me/shopper to learn more about using Nytch as a shopper. If they are still having issues, ask them to submit the support form at nytch.me/support so we can help resolve the issue.

How do I cancel my subscription to Nytch?

Simply email us at hello@nytch, letting us know you’d like to cancel your subscription and we’ll contact you with more details.
